  • Classic Bluetooth readers (the kind you pair in Settings). iPhone and the car can't use them. Look for “BLE” or “Bluetooth 4.0+”.
  • Wi-Fi readers. They take over your phone's Wi-Fi.
  • Readers that need their own app or subscription to unlock.

How this list is made

Every time a PlugLog driver connects a reader, the app notes the reader's model, whether it connected on the first try, how fast it answered and whether long scans finished. Only the vehicle's make, model and year are kept with it, never the driver, the reader's serial number or its Bluetooth address. A reader is listed once it has read a vehicle's battery data.

Using a different reader?

Run a quick scan in PlugLog. Once it reads your battery data, it shows up here.
